Diversity in the workplace, is respect for yourself and others, reguardless of skin color, race, ethnicity, or sex. Everyone in a workplace derserves respect and acknowledgement. Lack of Diversity in a workplace makes for poor communication skills, and respect for your fellow workers and your workplace in general.
Some of the issues people have with diversity, otherwise known as "walls" or "barriers", are lack of self esteem, prejudice, or even just racist, and sexist behaivior. These issues with diversity make for a bad image, and a lack of respect and communication in a workplace as well. These barriers are not good for diversity in a workplace, or even in a general setting in public.
Good Diversity, makes for a good well running workplace, filled with respect and care for others. Diversity makes a workplace run like a clock, with every employee as a gear, it runs smooth. Diversity is a good quality for a well run work place.
